Pavilhão do Mar | São Miguel | Azores - Portugal

The organization informs that the Portuguese Robotics Open 2020 is canceled.

The organization thanks for all everyone that contributed in preparing the event and all the teams that were planning to be take part of the Portuguese Robotics Open in the Azores. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic would did not allow us to carry out the Portuguese Robotics Open as the restrictions to activities on closed spaces are expected to be extended through all the year of 2020.

Although local organizers were very sad about this cancelation, the enthusiastic reception the planned event received from local schools, teachers and students that were strongly mobilized to participate, as well as the huge support of the Azorean Government, was the confirmation that the Azores are prepared to held the Open Portuguese Robotics Open in the near future.

During the next year, the Portuguese Robotics Open will be held on mainland and soon will be presented officially by Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica (SPR).
